Pike on the fly - Lopsjøen, Norway
Pike are cool. They're aggressive, they're big, and they fight hard. What else do you really need in a gamefish? After a few days floating the River Rena in Norway I had to take a quick morning pike fishing session before packing up. Glad I did! THE GRP2 10' 7 wt. and GRProto 6+ reel worked pretty darn good. Hooking into a big mama fish like this makes it easier to pack up and hit the road for home with a smile on your face.
